Tchaikovsky is often considered the most Romantic of composers.  His Fifth Symphony has long been an audience favorite for its soaring, memorable melodies and deeply passionate, emotional richness.  (Popular culture note:  the second movement inspired the songs “Moon Love,” recorded by both Glenn Miller and Chet Baker, and “Annie’s Song” by John Denver.)
