GALLA (Gay & Lesbian Lawyers Association) Networking Reception

The Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC), the Gay & Lesbian Lawyers Association (GALLA) and SAVE invites members of GALLA, attorneys, judges, and legal professionals to a wine & cheese  networking reception.  Socialize, mingle, and learn more about the  "Florida Access to Justice Project" addressing the conspicuous lack of diversity in the court system at all levels of government.  Guest speakers will be Trelvis Randolph (Civil Litigator & SAVE Board Member) and Renee Gordon (Former Assistant Public Defender).

?The Florida Access to Justice Project envisions a judiciary reflective of the diversity of our state. This promotes nominations free from the undue influence of special interest money, with access to justice for all.  The preamble of Florida?s state constitution guarantees ?equal civil and political rights to all. If these reforms were enacted, Floridians could be assured of a more diverse and fair system of justice that would limit partisan influence while creating greater public accountability and expanding judicial diversity.
