We are proud to host the Annual Celebrate ORGULLO Festival\, and appreciate your consideration in supporting this endeavor.\n\n \n\nFACTS |DATOS\n\nNow in its 4th successful year & with over 20 sanctioned events across South Florida on the weeks leading up to the festival itself on Saturday\, October 4\, 2014\, 12pm to 8pm\, at Collins Avenue at 73rd Street\, Miami Beach\, Celebrate ORGULLO is a festival showcasing Hispanic LGBT Pride - the first event of its kind in South Florida. \n\n \n\n The festival will include two (2) presenting stages with local\, national & international artists\, amazing sponsors\, community partners and 70+ booths of cultural diversity. It will feature International foods\, art\, street performers\, carnival games\, dancing and promises to be a fun time for all! This year's headliner is international singer\, stage & movie actress\, the Cuban born diva LUCRECIA. \n\n \n\n We are proud to present SHORTS UNDER THE STARS\, collaboration with the Miami Short Film Festival\, with a complimentary screening of various movies at Celebrate ORGULLO.\n\n \n\n Last year our attendance exceeded well over 25\,000 including festival and related events. This year\, in 2014\, we expect our numbers to continue to significantly increase due to our programming\, advertising\, community outreach\, partnership with the City of Miami Beach & Betsy Hotel\, sanctioned events & entertainment lineup. Our event covers demographics in every age category\, orientation\, ethnic and economic bracket.\n\n \n\n The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau will\, for the 3rd year\, conduct an on-site survey on attendees\, demographics\, shopping habits & much more.\n\n \n\n The event is free and open to the public with a portion of the proceeds from the sale of food and beverages to benefit our LGBT Scholarship Fund and year round programming of the Unity Coalition|Coalicion Unida\, Inc. \n\n \n\n Related Celebrate ORGULLO events leading up to the Festival include the Celebrate ORGULLO WRITERS' Salon\, hosted by the Betsy Hotel\, where we will present JOHNNY DIAZ\, ELLIOT TORRES and others for open dialogue and readings. We are also introducing the Celebrate ORGULLO Festival de Musica at the Betsy Hotel\, featuring PopOpera star & famed tenor ROLANDO POLO\, the smooth sounds of RICK JAZZED and many other surprises. \n\n \n\n Celebrate ORGULLO also includes multiple salsa dance contests across Miami Dade & Broward in the weeks leading up to the festival\, culminating in a DANCE FINALE CONTEST on the festival's main stage on October 4th with the crowning of the Celebrate ORGULLO DANCE WINNERS with cash and prizes.\n\n \n\n VIP Packages available for All Access to Dance Contest Clubs\, drinks\, VIP & Media Reception and the Celebrate ORGULLO Lounge at the Festival!
